Leslie Mann has been thinking about age lately, mostly because people are asking. She's the female lead in "This Is 40," a bittersweet Judd Apatow comedy about a couple (Ms. Mann and Paul Rudd), both just turned 40, whose marriage has drifted past taking-each-other-for-granted and is rounding the bend toward "now what?" Opening Dec. 21, it's the second film that Mr. Apatow, her husband, has made with something about being 40 years old in the title, as if that were the deadline for figuring something out. Ms. Mann turned 40 this year.
